The rains start pouring whiles Aldonza insists on returning back home and Cristobel takes her to a horse to rest in the forest and she tries forcing the horse to go away but she falls down intentionally and collapses and after Cristobel falls down intentionally and collapses and after Cristobel takes her up, she begins to smile without Cristobel’s notice. Cristobal takes her inside to take care of her and Aldonza insists that Cristobal stays with her and they begin to joke around.
After the doctor checked on Valeria, he comes to inform Severiano and Candela that Valeria almost had a miscarriage and therefore will recommend that she should not be moved but should be under a great supervision so he tells them to allow her to stay in their house to be taken good care of.
Adelina confronts Prudencia and after slapping her for insulting Aldonza and her as Prostitutes, she warns her to stay away from Aldonza if not she will have her to contend with. After Adelina left, Prudencia grows so furious and rains all the insults on she could on her as usual calling her a prostitute.
Lola pays a visit to Emmanuel in prison and from the look of things one could tell how they both misses each other very much but after the conversation and trying to clear things up, Lola still insists on breaking up with him since she still believes Emmanuel isn’t faithful.
Dominga tells candela that no matter what she and her husband do; Cristóbal can never leave Aldonza alone because the two of them are meant to be together. Candela asks her to spare her all those words. Dominga then gives her give her the collection Melesio was able to make from the people of Santa Lucia to get a car for father Jeronimo as Severiano ordered.
Severiano burns all of Alvatrie’s clothes after Havier brought them and he bids goodbye to Alvatrie. Whiles he lights the matches and decides to leave, his amputated hand begins to hurt him severely as usual after remembering how he allowed Roberta to burn down Raymondo’s warehouse after he caught off his hand.
Jeronimo finally tells Adelina about his transfer and this comes as a big blow to her since considering all of the problems confronting Aldonza this is the time they will need him to be there for them but in all father Jeronimo asks her to stand firm and be brave for Aldonza in case he leaves.
Cristobal goes to get some foodstuffs for Aldonza and on his way some men attacks him and takes his horse from him and in trying to challenge them they hit him and he goes on unconscious for a while and with some minutes he revives but since his horse was gone, he had to walk a quit distance to the house.
Candela shows the money to Severiano and asks him to explain why he asked Melesio to make that collection from the community. Severiano tells her that he’s just showing charity to Jeronimo but candela still doubted him. She tells him that if ever she gets to see any wicked intention towards that charity for Jeronimo, he will have her to fight with.
Cristobal arrives home and after telling Aldonza about the unfortunate incident he got himself into, Aldonza laughed at him and says to him that is his punishment for kidnapping her, hiding her and for kissing her. She then tries checking on the wound on Cristóbal’s head and it ends them up kissing.
