Hello great people, hope you are all doing so wonderful. We are starting with SIMPLY MARIA and in todays episode
Maria is a young girl from a small town that takes care of her siblings and her father because her mother died years ago.
Adolfo Rivapalacio tells Alejandro his son that he must graduate with honors from the faculty of medicine to be his successor when he retires.
Vanessa tells Alejandro that he better does his best or their father will die of heart attack. Isauro harasses Maria to marry him, or she will force him to steal her.
Adolfo tells the doctor that the medicine for his wife is not working.
Vanessa tells Estela that she rejected Marco. Estela tells her that’s not true and that they will get married when he finishes his career.
Juan regrets being poor and for not having let Maria study. She tells him that her mother taught her many things that are not learned at school and is happy in her land. Isauro convinces Juan to bet his crop at the cockfight. Juan tells him that the crop is the food for his family for the whole for the whole year.
Isauro tells him that if his cock wins he will have money to buy more land and if he loses, they can negotiate. Juan accepts and loses the bet. Isauro tells him Maria has to marry him in a month or he will have to give him everything he has in the granary.
Maria tells Isauro that she will not marry him but that she will pay him the debt.
Maria tells her father and siblings that she will go to the city to work to pay the debt and promises them to come back. Her father asks her not to forget them. She answers she won’t forget them or her roots.
